Rebuilding booking for a NYC skincare studio

BodyFactory Skincare is a multi-location New York MedSpa with studios in Hell's Kitchen, the Upper East Side, and the West Village, offering facials, peels, laser, and injectables. I rebuilt the website and online booking flow to reduce drop-off and turn browsing into booked appointments.

The problem

With a broad menu of treatments across multiple studios, prospective clients struggled to find the right service, pick a location, and complete a booking. The path from interest to appointment was longer than it needed to be, and people dropped off before reserving a free consultation.

What I designed

  • A clearer site. Restructured treatments — facials, peels, laser, injectables, and body — so visitors could navigate by need and quickly understand what each service offers.
  • A streamlined booking flow. Simplified the path to a free consultation and appointment, reducing steps and friction across the multi-location experience.
  • Trust and conversion. Surfaced reviews, results, and a clear "book now" path throughout, so the decision to book felt natural and low-risk.

Approach

This was a conversion-focused redesign: every change earned its place by removing a reason to leave. I mapped the booking journey end-to-end, simplified choices at each step, and designed a responsive experience that held up for clients browsing on their phones between appointments.
